SANE reimbursement applications now open - June 13 deadline
Do you or your organization have Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) related expenses incurred in this last fiscal year (starting July 1, 2022)?
You may be eligible for reimbursement!
Expenses incurred between July 1, 2022, and the application submission date may be eligible.
All applications are due by June 13, 2023, 11:59 PM
Nurse reimbursement
Individual Nurses with Washington state licenses may be reimbursed up to $2500.
Eligible expenses include:

Training fees
-
Lost wages
-
Travel costs

Health care organization reimbursement
Hospitals, Clinics, Tribal Organizations Clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), and Children’s Advocacy Centers that provide services in Washington state may be reimbursed for costs associated with relevant SANE services and supports,

Equipment
-
Staffing
-
Costs not reimbursed through other sources
Applications in which multiple facilities are included on one application are encouraged. This includes requests from associations, multi-disciplinary teams, and sexual assault response teams.
