Please review the Secretary of Health’s letter regarding the recent federal regulatory requirements for COVID-19 lab reporting.
While the Department of Health (DOH) works toward this new reporting, Secretary Wiesman is asking everyone to redouble their efforts to make sure ALL case reports and lab requests include complete patient address, phone number, and race/ethnicity data. Many, many of these reports are missing this key information which is delaying our ability to start critically important, time sensitive contact tracing to prevent potential further exposure to control this pandemic.
