Eligibility to take the Exam
Applicants who want to take the medication assistant certification endorsement (MACE) exam must meet the requirements listed in WAC 246-841A-595.
These requirements include minimum work experience and training requirements.
Apply to take the Exam
Qualified applicants complete the following steps to gain approval to register for the MACE exam:
- Submit an application for the medication assistant endorsement to the Department of Health (DOH) – Credentialing .
- Include the Certificate of Completion (COC) received from your MACE program with your application.
- DOH - Credentialing will process the application.
- Once all application requirements are met, DOH – Credentialing will authorize eligible applicants to take the exam by sending the applicant an Authorization to Test (ATT).
