Ajay Mendoza is a trained certified nurse-midwife, and currently practices as a nurse educator. Ajay currently serves on the faculties of Shoreline Community College, and Seattle University. He was born in Northern Virginia, and called Manila & Colorado home before moving to the Seattle area. After nursing school, Ajay served in the US Army Nurse Corps. He practiced in diverse settings while on active duty. Ajay resigned his Army commission to enter midwifery training to pursue his passion in birth care.
