Additional funds have been secured for the 2022-2023 academic year!
The Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission has received additional funds for the Washington State Student Nurse Preceptorship Grant (WSSNPG) 2022-2023 academic year.
What does this mean?
Because more funding is available, some changes have been made.
Here's what's different:
- Preceptor grant applications are open to student nurse preceptors that provided 80 or more hours of clinical preceptorship to:
- A prelicensure student during Fall 2022, Winter 2023 and/or Spring 2023 during the final clinical rotation, or
- An ARNP student during Fall 2022, Winter 2023 and/or Spring 2023 during the first or last clinical rotation.
- Completed Certification of Hours (COH) Forms no longer need to be submitted within 5 days.
- COH forms from Fall 2022, Winter 2023 and Spring 2023 terms will be accepted until June 15, 2023.
- No COH form submissions will be accepted after June 15, 2023, due to state fiscal deadlines.
