The policy statement reflects that the Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission (NCQAC) will not enforce AIDS training, education, and documentation requirements in chapter 246-12 WAC, Part 8, and profession and facility-specific WACs while rules are being repealed to comply with ESHB 1551 enacted in law by the Washington State Legislature in 2020.
