I’ am a Registered Nurse. I graduated from Washington State University in 2004. I hold a degree of Bachelor of Science in nursing.
I started my nursing career as a Telemetry nurse, before transitioning to pre-op and recovery. I moved to the Seattle area and lived there for 14 years. It was during this time that I began my career as a correctional nurse. I have been working in corrections for the last 12 years. I currently live in Yakima, and I work as a correctional nurse at a prison in Connell, Washington. The best part of being a registered nurse is having opportunities to work in various nursing fields. This ability allows me to continue to learn and grow in my career.
I enjoy day hikes and walks with my dog. I enjoy hiking so much, that I became a volunteer for the Washington Outdoor Women. This organization teaches and empowers women about different areas of hiking, camping, and fishing.
Also, in my spare time, I enjoy traveling with friends to different countries.
